Replacing an old attic fan

“ The 18 year old skylight in my master bathroom had become cloudy and streaked. I sought an installer and learned about Houseworks Daylighting Solutions from Angies list. Their salesman/estimator helped me decide on the model and style of skylight I needed. Additionally, I was interested in replacing an old attic fan. They had a solar-powered attic fan which interested me. Both items were installed today in about 4 hours and am happy with the finished products. I had had a prior estimate from a Roofer, for the same work, which would have been less expensive. I chose to go with Houseworks because of the high quality and reputation of the specific skylight they offered (Velux) and its long warranty (20 Yrs). Only Houseworks offered a solar attic fan.”

“ Mark Becker gave a good explanation in detail of how the new skylights would be installed. Mark and Nick, the installers, were prompt, neat, knowledgeable, and thorough with the installation of the skylights. I had some extra shingles and the installers were able to do the installation without having shingles that did not match. Also they were able to save the inside trim strips to help make the inside appear original. Mark even primed the strips. All the gentlemen, salesman and installers were polite, courteous, and concerned about the installation.”

We contacted several skylight companies for information and quotes. “ It is not about the review of the service. I am writing to complain on one of the drivers who was driving like crazy. The car plate number is 2393*** Illinois. The truck is driving on I-57 south right now as of 4/4/2023 3:04pm. The driver is chaning the lines too fast, too many times without enough safe distance between cars. I really wanted to report it to the police as it is A THREAT to the other drivers on the road. I really hope you have some consequences for this dangerous driving.”
